My bank's 'instant' wire transfer took 5 days and cost me $150
I needed to send money for a car down payment last Thursday. The teller said it would be there same day. It didn't clear until Tuesday, and the seller charged me a late fee. The bank blamed an 'intermediary' and wouldn't refund the fee. Has anyone else had a wire just vanish for almost a week?
