Shoutout to my bank after I finally got a wire transfer to clear in under 24 hours

I run a moving company in Phoenix and had a client pay me $3,200 via wire transfer last Thursday. It took me three calls and two visits to the branch to figure out I needed to say "domestic wire" not just "wire" - wasted 4 hours on something that should've taken 5 minutes. Has anyone else run into weird wording that tripped up a payment?

Blame the banks for making simple things complicated"... that's pretty much my entire experience with my checking account. I swear they have a whole department dedicated to turning "you have $50" into a 12 page document. Makes me feel like I need a translator just to check my balance.
