That $30 'international' debit card from a random fintech froze my account for 2 weeks
Paid $30 for a prepaid debit card from a digital banking startup for a trip to Mexico City and somehow it flagged every single taco purchase as fraud, has anyone else had one of these cards just lock you out completely?

Ugh that's so annoying. It's like these fintech startups are built by people who have never actually traveled or bought a taco before.

Does your bank app glitch out when you try to split a pizza bill with friends too, @abbyc33? Ngl, I had one fintech card that straight up blocked my transaction at a street taco stand in Mexico because it thought the location was 'suspicious'. Honestly, I had to pay with crumpled pesos I found in my backpack while the vendor just stared at me.
