I wasted $400 on a VPN that barely works in my own country

I bought a 2-year plan from a big VPN company after seeing ads about privacy. Turns out they block streaming sites in the US too, not just overseas. I lost access to Netflix and Hulu after 3 weeks because their servers got flagged. Now I'm stuck with a service that can't even let me watch my own shows. Has anyone else gotten burned by a VPN that promised too much?

Classic bait and switch, they got you good. $400 down the drain for a service that can't even do the one thing it's supposed to do. I swear half these VPN companies just take your money and then block the stuff you actually want to use. They probably saw you coming from a mile away with that 2 year deal. Hope you at least got a decent laugh out of the experience since the refund is probably a joke too. Might as well use it to hide from your ISP while you watch ads on YouTube now.

Yeah you gotta test the refund policy before committing, I learned that the hard way with my last VPN too.
