PSA: Got flagged at customs in Berlin for carrying a translated copy of '1984'

I went through Berlin Tegel last month and they pulled me aside for a German translation of Orwell's '1984' I had in my bag. The officer kept asking why I needed it and took 30 minutes before letting me through. It made me realize how easy it is for border agents to hassle you over books they consider suspicious. Has anyone else run into weird censorship like this at an airport?

Feels more like an overzealous officer than actual censorship.

Right, because nothing says "free speech" like getting a warning for saying something the cop personally didn't like.
