Tried to buy a book in Singapore, got a 4 hour customs lecture instead

I ordered a historical novel about a certain Southeast Asian leader's family and it got held at customs. They called me in for questioning at Changi, made me explain why I wanted it, and then released it with a warning sticker on the cover. Has anyone else had a reading habit turned into a bureaucratic circus abroad?
