Found a dog-eared copy of 'Persepolis' in my gym bag after a confusing mix-up.

I accidentally grabbed my friend's bag after spin class, and instead of my protein shake, I pulled out Marjane Satrapi's graphic novel. We had a good laugh about the mix-up, but discussing why it's frequently challenged in schools over its political content actually changed my view on how accessible these stories should be. What's the most bizarre place you've encountered a banned book?

Though to be fair, 'Persepolis' bans often stem from cultural sensitivity, not just politics!

Speaking of bizarre places, I once found a copy of '1984' in my laundry basket. I mean, maybe my socks were trying to warn me about surveillance or something.

My cousin discovered a dusty copy of '1984' in his glove compartment last year. It's like the universe drops that book wherever privacy feels most violated. Maybe our belongings are staging a quiet rebellion against data collection, you know?
