I just found out a book about a cartoon rabbit was banned in China for being 'too subversive'

I was reading this article about weird book bans, and it mentioned 'The Rabbit Who Wanted to Fall Asleep'. It's a Swedish kids book meant to help with bedtime. Apparently, it got pulled from some libraries in China a few years back because officials said the rabbit's 'defiant attitude' could encourage kids to question authority. I mean, idk, maybe it's just me but that seems like a huge stretch for a story about a sleepy bunny. Has anyone else come across bans that just seem totally bizarre when you actually look at the book?

Man, if a sleepy rabbit is a threat to national security, I'm basically a wanted criminal for all the naps I take.

Right, so what's the actual crime here, the sleeping or the being a rabbit? Because if it's the sleeping, half the country is guilty. But if it's just about being a rabbit, then we've got a real problem with how they pick these threats. Makes you wonder who's making the list and what else is on it. Probably a bunch of normal stuff that just looks weird to someone in an office.
