Showerthought: finding a beat-up copy of Slaughterhouse-Five at a garage sale in Toledo for 50 cents took me right back to 10th grade English
Back then in 2004 our teacher handed out the books with a note for parents, and now I watch the same fight happen over school shelves in Florida and Missouri, so I keep wondering who the heck is actually scared of a paperback with a bird on the cover.
