Spent $60 on a translated edition that was censored anyway
Tbh I bought a UK copy of a banned US novel for $60 thinking I'd dodge the cuts, but turns out the publisher quietly trimmed a whole chapter to keep shipping costs down. Found out when I compared it to a PDF from a library in Norway. Anyone else ever pay extra for a 'complete' version that still got gutted?
