Appreciation post: my post about the city council meeting got pulled, so I printed 50 copies and left them at the laundromat
Two choices last month: stop posting about the rezoning at Riverside and 9th, or move it somewhere they couldn't delete it. I went with the paper route, printed 50 copies at the library for $4.20, and left them next to the dryers. Eleven people grabbed one, and a guy named Marcus called the number on the back to ask when the next meeting is. What's your go to backup when a post vanishes, email list or actual paper?

Taping a copy to the community board at the grocery store gets way more eyes than the laundromat since people actually stand there and read while they wait. Add a QR code to a group chat too and suddenly the paper brings people into the email list instead of replacing it.
