Got banned from a neighborhood Facebook group for asking about lawn sprinkler timers

Last Tuesday I posted asking if anyone had tried those $30 smart timers from Harbor Freight, and the admin deleted it within an hour saying it was 'off topic for community discussion.' I just wanted to know if they hold up to the freeze-thaw cycle we get here in Ohio - has anyone else run into overzealous moderators killing perfectly reasonable posts?

Try calling Harbor Freight direct, their customer service is actually decent for warranty stuff.

Yeah @loganburns is totally right about that. I had a cheap torque wrench from them that snapped after like two uses and I figured I was just gonna have to eat the loss. Called their number expecting the runaround but the guy on the phone didn't even ask for a receipt, just took my name and address and mailed me a new one in like 4 days. Makes me wonder why nobody else has customer service that easy, you know?
