Got kicked out of the museum for pointing out a sign error

I was at the Natural History Museum downtown last Saturday and saw this plaque next to a trilobite fossil that said it was from the Devonian period. I knew right away that was wrong because I collect fossils and trilobites are mostly Cambrian. I mentioned it to the staff member nearby and she said I was being disruptive and asked me to leave. Has anyone else been told to shut up for correcting obvious mistakes in public displays?
