Got muted in a Facebook group over a fence height comment, and here is the part that bugs me
Three days ago I replied to a post in a neighborhood group about a fence dispute and just said the city code caps back fences at 6 feet, nothing else. Within an hour a mod removed my comment and muted me for 30 days with no warning. I messaged the mod and asked which rule I broke, and he replied that my comment was "stirring things up," even though the code is public and I posted the link to it. I ended up copying my comment and the code section into a plain text file so I have it saved if it happens again. Has anyone found a good backup spot for stuff like this, or do most of you just keep your own copy?
Keeping a plain text copy is smart since screenshots get buried and mods can't touch your own files. You could also stash it in a cloud note or email it to yourself so it's not stuck on one device if that laptop dies lol.
