I got a 30 day ban from a hiking group for posting a trail condition warning

I mean, it was just a picture of a washed-out bridge on the Maple Pass Loop last month with a note to be careful. The mod said it was 'fear-mongering' and removed it. I waited out the ban, but now I just share the same info in the comments under other people's posts. It feels silly, but it works. Has anyone else had to find these little workarounds after getting shut down for trying to help?

Classic. It's like how you can't tell a customer their old furnace is a death trap, you have to say it's "reaching the end of its service life." Same info, different wrapping.

Spot on. Same with calling clients "unmotivated" instead of lazy.
