Shoutout to the r/legaladvice mods who banned me for quoting my own lease, it woke me up
Back in March I got a 30 day ban from r/legaladvice for posting the exact clause my landlord used to keep my $1,200 deposit, because the mods said it counted as "legal advice." That same morning I printed the clause at the FedEx on Elm Street and mailed it to a local tenant union instead, and they got my money back in three weeks. Has anyone else had a mod ban end up pushing you toward a real world group that actually helped?
