The city council forum that got my mic cut at 9pm sharp

I stood up at the Springfield city council meeting last Tuesday to ask why they spent $40,000 on a new fountain while the library roof leaks. The mayor told me to stick to the agenda, then the chairman killed my mic mid-sentence. Has anyone else had their public comment time shut down over something that wasn't on the printed list?

Did that council chairman get a talking to, or did they just move on like nothing happened? A buddy of mine got cut off mid-sentence at a zoning hearing once, and the mayor just stared at his watch the whole time, so I get the frustration.
