Three day ban on a hiking group for asking about trail conditions

Got kicked out of a local hiking Facebook group last month for asking if the mud on the Pinhoti Trail was still knee deep after that storm. The mod said I was 'spreading negativity' when I pointed out the trail report from the ranger station in Heflin had a different story. Three days later they let me back in, but I still couldn't post a warning about that washed out bridge near mile marker 12. Has anyone else gotten muted for just stating basic facts that the group didn't want to hear?
