TIL my town banned a lady for posting the water test results from the county health office

I was on the Nextdoor for Maple Creek, Illinois last month and a woman posted the actual 2023 water quality report from the county showing lead levels at 18 parts per billion. The town moderator deleted it and banned her for 30 days, claiming it was "unverified scare tactics." But I looked up the EPA standard and it's 15 ppb max, so she was just telling the truth. Has anyone else seen local admins delete factual public records just because they don't like the story?

Did I read that right? They banned her for posting the county's own numbers? That is wild. The EPA says 15 ppb is the limit, and she showed 18 ppb. That is not scare tactics, that is the truth. Those admins think they can hide problems by silencing people. It just makes everyone more suspicious. If the town's water is bad, people deserve to know about it.

18 is actually over the EPA limit, they set it at 15 not 5.
