Warning: Got a 30-day ban from a local Facebook group for posting a link to a police scanner feed during a protest.
The admin called it 'inciting unrest', but I just wanted people to hear the actual situation. Anyone else get hit for sharing public info?

Seems like they just want obedient members.

Obedient members" - that's the perfect way to put it. What kind of stuff were you seeing that made you think that? I've noticed if you push back on anything, even with proof, they treat you like you're starting a fight. Was there a specific rule or post that gave you that vibe?

Honestly that's so typical of those groups now. I got booted for correcting a rumor about road closures last winter. They'd rather have people guessing than sharing actual facts.
