What happened when I got banned for my diet take
In my experience, I was kicked off a fitness group for saying keto messed with my mood. Your mileage may vary, but reading a study on gut health changed my view on cutting carbs. Now I talk about balanced eating on smaller forums to avoid being silenced.

Got the boot from a running club for suggesting maybe we didn't need carb-loading pasta parties before every 5k. The zealotry is real. I crashed hard trying to train on just salads and chicken, learned my lesson. Found a better crew who actually listens when you say something makes you feel like garbage.

My dumbest running moment was skipping carbs before a half marathon. Ended up walking the last five miles, so I feel your pain, @sullivan.caleb. Finding people who get that balance is key to not hating every run.
