Appreciation post: I thought appealing a Discord ban was a waste of time, then I got back in after 3 days
I got banned from a 20,000 member server last month for a joke about a game update, and I almost didn't bother with the appeal form because everyone says mods never read them. I typed out 4 sentences, admitted the joke flopped, and a human mod actually replied in 3 days and lifted it. Has anyone else had an appeal work when you figured it was hopeless?
My buddy got clipped from a big server for posting a meme the mods hated, and he filled out the appeal just messing around. Some actual person wrote back like 2 days later saying they looked at his history and it was a first slip. He was back in before the weekend.
