Facebook gardening group banned me for saying Roundup isn't pure evil
I was in a local gardening group in Phoenix where everyone was trashing glyphosate as if it's poison that kills bees from orbit. I just pointed out that proper spot treatment on weeds in my driveway isn't the same as spraying a whole field, and the admin deleted my post and banned me within an hour. They said I was spreading dangerous misinformation, but I was just sharing how I dealt with weeds after a monsoon last August. Has anyone else gotten shut down for pushing back on the all-natural crowd?

Man, getting banned for that is wild. My green thumb is so bad I once killed a cactus, so maybe they'd let me in just for comic relief. I get that Roundup has its problems but the way some people act you'd think it's the devil's own weedkiller. I use it on some stubborn Bermuda grass in my gravel and my garden is still full of bees and lizards. It's like saying a kitchen knife is evil because you can stab someone with it, context matters. Hope the Phoenix heat doesn't make your driveway weeds worse while you find another group.

Did the admin even explain why they think spot treating is dangerous misinformation?
