Got a harsh note on my blog about 2A topics that totally shifted my approach

I run a small blog where I talk about firearm safety and hunting tips, nothing super political. About 4 months ago, I got a private message from a moderator on a forum I posted to. They said my tone was 'too aggressive' and that I was 'pushing a narrative instead of facts.' At first I was mad, but I sat on it for a day. Then I looked back at what I wrote and realized they were kinda right. I was using charged words like 'they' and 'them' without any context, making it sound like I was attacking folks. So I rewrote my whole style to be more neutral and focus on personal stories from my own trips up in Montana. Has anyone else had a comment like that make them totally rethink how they write online?

@Gavins43, moderators are usually just looking out for the conversation.

Did you try rewriting the whole post and seeing how it felt?
