Got a permanent ban from a local news site for saying the new bike lane data was flawed

They claimed a 40% accident drop, but the report counted the construction period when no one could use the street. Anyone else get banned for pointing out bad stats?

What gets me is they probably know it's wrong but figure most people won't read the fine print.

Lol that's some next level data bending right there. Reminds me of when my boss tried to say our ticket response time was "lightning fast" because he only counted the three easy ones from his buddy. @the_riley is right, that math would sink any real business. If I tried that at my job to make our numbers look good, they'd fire me on the spot. They basically made it look safe by counting the time it was literally closed for business. That's not a study, that's a creative writing project.
