Got banned from a local buy nothing group for suggesting people read item descriptions
Last Thursday I commented on a post where someone was giving away a free blender, but the person kept asking questions that were already answered in the listing. I just said "might help to read the full post before commenting" and the admin banned me within an hour for "creating a negative environment." I wasn't even rude about it, just pointed out basic reading skills. Has anyone else been booted from a neighborhood group for something this minor?

Wait, they banned you within an HOUR for one comment? That's insane. I got banned from my neighborhood group for telling a lady she couldn't regift an already opened bag of dog food, and they took a whole day to boot me. These admins have zero chill sometimes, it's like they're just looking for reasons to swing the ban hammer.
