Got banned from a local couponing group for sharing a store trick

I was in this Facebook group for couponers in my town, maybe 500 people in it. A few weeks ago I posted a tip about how a certain grocery chain on Main Street would double any manufacturer coupon up to $1.00 if you went on Tuesdays before noon, because that's when the manager who approved it was working. I had saved like $40 in one trip doing that, so I thought I was being helpful. Within an hour, a mod removed my post and gave me a warning about 'exposing internal policies.' I tried to argue it was just sharing what I figured out, but they perma-banned me the next day. The crazy part is, I saw other people posting about the same store's price-matching rules, and those posts stayed up. Has anyone else dealt with a group where the rules seem to get applied differently depending on who you are?

Man that's frustrating. Totally unfair how they handled it.

The part about them letting other people post price-matching rules but banning you for the coupon doubling thing just floors me. That's some serious favoritism right there.
