Got booted from a book club subreddit for pointing out a plot hole

I mentioned in a discussion thread that the main character's timeline in chapter 7 didn't add up, and within an hour I was permabanned for 'arguing in bad faith.' Has anyone else been tossed from a niche community over something this small?

The timeline thing in chapter 7 actually does work if you look at the morning scenes more carefully. She woke up at 6:30 but the clock on the nightstand was an hour fast, which is mentioned in chapter 3 when she complains about her roommate messing with it for daylight savings. I noticed that on my second read through and it cleared everything up for me. Still sucks you got banned over it though, mods can be way too quick with the hammer sometimes.

lily97's right about the clock thing, I had to re-read that part too lol. Reminds me of when I got temp banned from a gardening forum for telling someone their tomato plants looked sad, mods said I was being mean.
