Got permanently banned from a gardening forum for saying I use neem oil on my roses
I posted a tip about neem oil for aphids in a gardening group, and the mod said it's 'too toxic' and banned me within 20 minutes, no warning at all. Has anyone else run into mods who flip out over basic pest control stuff?

Got banned from a homesteading group for mentioning diatomaceous earth. The mod went on a whole rant about how it kills bees and I'm irresponsible. I literally just said I sprinkle it around my chicken coop for mites. No warning, no chance to explain I only use it inside the coop not outside where bees would go. It's like these mods have zero common sense and just want to power trip over the smallest things. Neem oil is totally fine for roses if you apply it properly. Some people just love feeling superior by being extra strict about stuff they barely understand.

Right @the_dakota, are these mods just looking for a reason to swing that ban hammer? I got booted from a gardening page for saying I use beer traps for slugs, told me I was promoting animal cruelty or something wild like that.
