Mods nuked my comment for questioning a city ordinance, was I out of line?
I got banned from my town's subreddit for asking why we spend $2.1 million on a new roundabout near Dupont Circle when the potholes on 14th Street are eating axles. The mod said I was 'spreading misinformation' because the project was already approved, but I wasn't lying, just asking for numbers. Is pushing back on local spending always a ban-worthy offense, or did I just hit a sensitive nerve with the wrong volunteer? Has anyone else gotten the boot for simple budget questions in a civic group?
