My ban from a chat app over a strong view made me snap photos first
I was kicked off a messaging app for sharing an opinion that went against the group. Now I always take a picture of my messages before I send them. If my account gets locked, I still have what I wrote. It helped me once when I needed to explain my side to friends. In my experience, this little step can stop you from losing your thoughts.

Wait, they banned your entire account just for one opinion? That's so extreme! I can't believe a chat app would lock you out completely for that. Your screenshot idea is really smart though, it's sad you even have to do that. What kind of group was this that they couldn't handle a different view?

Screenshotting is key for keeping proof of your chats. Many apps erase all your messages after a ban, leaving no trace. We have to protect ourselves because the systems won't.
