Showerthought: A mod told me to stop linking my own blog, so I did, and my 3 year old Reddit account finally stopped getting auto nuked
Back in March a mod in r/homesteading sent me a short DM saying my links were the reason every comment I made sat in the spam filter for hours, and I told him that was nuts because I only dropped a link maybe once a week. I stopped cold for 60 days and my comments started showing up right away instead of waiting around, which honestly bugged me more than getting banned did. So was the guy right and I was just too stubborn to see it, or is there some other reason my stuff was getting held up?
