That one moderator who cracked mid-debate back in 2017 still haunts me
Dude told me I was 'psychologically unwell' for arguing about pineapple on pizza for 40 straight minutes on a now-dead forum, then permabanned me with a note that just said 'go outside,' has anyone else had a mod get personally offended like that?

Mods like that are just regular people with a little bit of power and no one to answer to. Seen the same thing happen at work with managers who snap over the smallest stuff. They get so wrapped up in their own mood they forget it's just a forum or a job. Pineapple on pizza is a dumb hill to die on, but permabanning someone over it says more about them than you. People like that are usually stressed out about something else entirely and you just happened to be in the crosshairs.
