TIL Facebook banned me for sharing a local news story about a school board meeting
I shared a link from our town's newspaper about a school board voting to cut library funding. The post had no commentary from me, just the link and a simple "Thoughts?" in the caption. Within an hour, Facebook flagged it as "misleading information" and gave me a 30-day ban. I appealed with a screenshot of the newspaper's front page and got no response. Has anyone else had a completely neutral news post get flagged like that?

Could the algorithm have flagged that newspaper link as unreliable just based on how often it's shared?
