Tip: Screenshot every ban notice immediately
Got banned from a local news site for calling out a bad article. They deleted my account and I had no proof. Take a screenshot the second you see that message. Saved my case last week when I appealed a subreddit ban with evidence.

Wow, they deleted your whole account? That is wild. I always thought bans were just temp or perm but they actually wiped your profile clean. Man, that's a lesson learned the hard way, thanks for the heads up.
