Got a 24-hour ban for posting that 'distracted boyfriend' edit with political figures

It happened on a big platform last Tuesday, and I just appealed with a note about fair use. What's the weirdest reason you've seen a meme get pulled?

Honestly robin_wright, probably both. The edit was a bit much, but those specific numbers were bound to start something.

Man ive been there with numbers. I once posted a chart about local gas prices and accidentally used data from 2019 instead of 2023 and got roasted for 3 days straight. People were sending me screenshots of gas station signs and everything. So yeah I feel the "bound to start something" thing way too hard. Probably should just own the mistake and laugh it off before someone pulls out a spreadsheet.
