Got a 24 hour ban on a big platform for posting that 'one weird trick' meme about a certain world leader.
I was just scrolling in my apartment in Chicago, posted a simple edit of that old 'they don't want you to know this' format, and boom, account was locked before I could blink. It makes you wonder, if a joke about a politician can't survive, what's the actual line for free speech now? What's the most harmless meme you've seen get someone in trouble?

Seriously? I saw a guy get flagged for a potato quality edit of a cat photo that vaguely looked like a flag.

The "potato quality cat photo" thing is exactly why flagging needs a sanity check. It's wild that someone spent real time reporting that when actual harmful stuff slips through. Makes you wonder if the flaggers are just bored or trying to mess with people. Like, come on, a cat photo that kinda looks like a flag? That's not breaking any real rule, that's just someone with too much time on their hands.

Flagging that seems a bit over the top. The rules can get pretty silly sometimes. People just need to chill out.
