My political cartoon got flagged by three platforms in 24 hours

I drew a cartoon about surveillance laws that Parler, Instagram, and a small forum all pulled within a day. Parler said it violated community standards, Instagram called it hate speech (it wasn't), and the forum just deleted it with no explanation. The cartoon wasn't even that edgy, it was just about how companies collect your data. So now I'm wondering, do these platforms use the same automated filters or is it just a copycat effect? Has anyone else had one piece of content nuked across multiple sites at once?

Read about a study last month that showed most platforms license the same moderation tech from like three companies, so yeah, they're basically using the same filters with different brand names slapped on. Instagram's hate speech flag is especially notorious for being overly broad, it catches satire and even historical photos all the time. The forum probably uses a shared blocklist that gets updated when bigger sites report something, so your cartoon probably got flagged once and then spread to the others automatically. It's honestly scary how little human review goes into any of this.
