My post about a frog meme got removed for 'hate speech' on a major platform last Tuesday...

The image was just a cartoon frog looking confused with text about a common internet joke, and a moderator told me 'the character itself is now considered a hate symbol' which feels like they're banning ideas, not just content, so what does that mean for joking around online anymore?

Got hit with a similar takedown last month for an old fanart piece. Appealed it by showing my original sketches and the public character references I used. Took a couple of days, but they restored it. The automated systems are way too broad sometimes.
