Question about a meme my friend in Turkey got banned for

He posted a meme about a cartoon character that got his account locked for a week. On one side, it was just a joke, but the platform said it broke rules. Does that kind of takedown help keep things civil or just kill harmless fun? What's a line you've seen crossed?

Wait, a cartoon character meme got him banned? That's wild. What could it even be about?

See this happen all the time now, where a joke gets hit by an automated filter or a mod who doesn't get the context. It feels like the rules are made for the worst people, so normal fun gets caught in the net. The line gets crossed when platforms stop judging intent and just ban anything that could maybe, possibly offend someone. It kills casual conversation and makes everyone second-guess posting a simple joke.
