Shoutout to the guy in Manila who got me to think twice about reposting banned memes
I used to share every banned meme I saw because I figured a meme is just a joke and nobody gets hurt. Then a guy in a group chat in Manila said one line: "The joke is the point, but who pays for it is the real part." He lost his account twice for stuff he reposted, and that made me slow down and actually read why each one got pulled, not just laugh and forward it. Anyone else here ever change how they share after something a random person said to them?
