Spent 11 days trying to post a meme of a duck wearing a tiny hard hat, turns out the mods thought the hat was a political symbol
I tried three different captions, appealed twice, and even made a version where the duck had no hat at all, but by then the joke was dead and I had to explain to my brother why I was so mad about a waterfowl.

Had a buddy go through the same thing with a frog in a cowboy hat. Took him two weeks and three mod messages before they let it through, and he said the funny part was gone by then. Sometimes the joke just dies in the waiting line, hats or no hats.
