Warning: I saw the Texas abortion memes disappear from Instagram in under 4 hours

I reposted that 'My Body My Choice' meme with the coat hanger graphic last Tuesday and it got flagged within 20 minutes. By the time I checked my friends' feeds, all similar posts were gone. Has anyone else tracked how fast these bans happen now versus two years ago?

Did you notice how Facebook's algorithm seems to slow down posts about abortion but lets anti-vax garbage spread for days? I had a friend post a Planned Parenthood link and it took hours to show up in feeds.

I actually saw a report from the Markup a few months back that looked into this. They found Facebook's algorithm flagged posts about reproductive health way more often than stuff about vaccines, even when both were from legit sources. It's like the system is tuned to be super careful about one topic but not the other. You ever notice how they also seem to slow down posts about climate change or anything political?
