Got a flyer pulled for a campus event about rent control
Our student group put up posters for a talk on housing costs in Berkeley. Campus staff took them all down within an hour, saying we needed a permit we'd never heard of. Has anyone else had an event shut down before it even started?

Probably needed a permit specifically for saying things the admin doesn't want students to hear.

Honestly that sounds like a standard rule for any campus. They probably have to approve all posters so the bulletin boards don't get covered in junk. Tbh I doubt it was about the topic, just the process. You gotta check those things first.
