Hit 50 formal complaints my sophomore year and it made me pause
I was in a political science class back in 2018 at a school in Ohio and kept getting shut down for bringing up historical examples that contradicted the lecture. By the end of the year I had filed 50 formal complaints about discussion policies, which felt like a lot for one person. Has anyone else kept track of how many times they were told to stop talking in a class?

Ngl that's actually kind of impressive discipline right there.

Man, that's a lot of complaints... I actually heard a podcast a while back about how some professors just shut down any pushback that doesn't fit their own views. One guy talked about how he got a whole list of "banned topics" in his class just for asking tough questions. Sounds like you were dealing with the same kind of thing, but you actually documented it. Fifty complaints is wild, but it shows you weren't just letting it slide.
