Rant: My professor said my pro-life flyer was 'triggering content' and made me take it down
He told me it 'created a hostile environment' during a campus event in October. Has anyone else had a club display removed for just stating a basic opinion?

Oh man, this reminds me of my friend Jake. He tried to put up some posters for a debate on free speech last year, and the student union called them "divisive." They made him take them down because the topic itself was "too charged." It's wild how stating a plain fact or just wanting a discussion gets shut down like that. Feels like some campuses just want everyone to have the same quiet opinion.

What exactly is the approved method for talking about free speech now? Do we have to submit our topics for a feelings check first? Next they'll want us to debate using only approved, non-divisive words like "fluffy" and "nice." The whole point is to talk about hard stuff, not pretend it doesn't exist.

Honestly, what did the posters actually say? Sometimes you gotta play the game. My buddy had the same thing happen, so he reworded everything to sound super neutral like "A conversation on campus dialogue." They approved that no problem. It's stupid but you have to hide the topic a little.
