They pulled the plug on our debate club event at UC Davis
We had a speaker lined up to talk about free speech zones, a guy named Mark from a legal group. The admin said his past comments on social media were 'too divisive' and canceled our room booking two days before. It was supposed to be a simple Q and A, not a rally. Has anyone else had an event shut down over a speaker's old tweets?

Wow, that's a tough spot. But old tweets shouldn't erase a chance to talk about free speech now, right? It feels like they're avoiding the whole point of the event.
