A customer at my shop in Boise asked me why I always tilt his head down, and his reason for asking stuck with me
He was 74 and had been getting cuts for 50 years, and he said no barber had ever explained the tilt to him. I told him it's how I keep the neckline even without digging in, and he just nodded and said his old guy in Twin Falls never said a word in 20 years. Since then I explain one small thing to every client, and a few have started asking questions back. Any of you ever had a regular call out something you do on autopilot?
