Blew a fade on a walk-in and the guy just sat there quiet the entire time
Last Tuesday a guy walked in twenty minutes before close and asked for a skin fade with a hard part. Halfway through, my clippers started dragging and I realized the blade was dull, so I did the rest with my trimmer and it came out choppy as hell. He looked at it, paid, tipped me five bucks, and left without a word, which honestly felt worse than if he had yelled. Any of you keep a spare blade on hand or do you just sharpen and pray?
