Client told me my fades were 'off' from the left side
One guy in Chicago pointed out my left side fade was slightly higher than the right. I started using a bigger mirror behind the chair to check both sides equally before finishing. Anyone else get feedback that totally changed how you set up your station?

Wait, has anyone else's client ever brought in a friend to point out their fade was uneven? My buddy Mike had this happen a few years back at his shop in Portland. A lady brought her husband in for a touch up and he just stood there staring from different angles for like five minutes. Then he walked over and pointed at Mike's mirror setup saying "you can't see the back of the right side from here, bro." Mike ended up getting one of those tri-fold mirrors that sit on the counter so he can check both sides at once without turning his head. Now he always does a final spin check with the client facing a big wall mirror too, catches a lot of little mistakes that way.

Used to think that was overkill, but a buddy of mine caught a crooked neckline on me that way once. Now I'm the weirdo staring at angles in every barber shop I visit.
